At CHILL, we inspire young people and showcase the many opportunities our vibrant region has to offer. Our goal is to increase enrolment in relevant educational pathways in Limburg and support companies in the region, thereby contributing to a thriving and sustainable future. Our innovation labs are the place where MBO, HBO and university students come together to work on making SMEs and large companies more sustainable and help them move forward in the Green Chemistry and Circular transition. Here, young entrepreneurs are given the opportunity to turn their ambitions into reality, supported by state-of-the-art facilities and in-depth expertise. In addition, we actively support students in finding internships within the domains of sustainability, future food and circular chemistry. CHILL is the breeding ground for regional talent, where supply and demand come together. Our lifelong learning programs serve as a springboard for the leaders and professionals of tomorrow.

Design and simulation
We can provide companies with an initial and/or fully completed design and 3D-print a prototype
Materials
We support companies working with advanced materials such as polymers, composites, and biobased materials by providing access to shared lab facilities and expertise. Through partnerships like the one with Brightlands Materials Center, we help strengthen industrial materials R&D, enabling testing and processing support for innovative and sustainable material solutions
Production
We can help companies with their testing the material prior to the production phase, via injection moulding and/or 3D-printing (depending on the need).
Process optimization and consulting
We provide applied consulting and knowledge transfer through collaborative innovation projects, challenge-based learning, and co-creation with industry partners. CHILL connects companies with talent, educational expertise, and hands-on problem solving for topics such as circular production systems, recycling process pilots (e.g., chemical recycling of plastics), and sustainable chemistry approaches in ongoing research programs. Our team supports these activities via structured project guidance and community-driven development programs.
