The RoboticsDepartment of IfU GmbH focuses on the development and application of intelligent robot systems for the transfer ofresearch into industrial practice. The company can draw on experience from previous projects in the field of mobilerobotics prototyping and product development, consulting, training and in autonomous mobile robotics systemfunction development for intralogistics use cases.

IfU does not produce physical materials or components (e.g., thermoplastic composites, tooling, or manufacturing parts). Its focus is onresearch, consulting, training and system-level solutions in the field of cybernetics & robotics rather than material production.
Our use cases
For the IfU GmbH, based on its focus areas, there is no direct involvement in producing or processing lightweightcomposites. However, IfU’s activities can relate indirectly through:
- Automation and Robotics for Composite Handling
Projects involving autonomous mobile robots for transporting lightweight composite parts in intralogistics. - Process Optimization for Composite Manufacturing
Feasibility studies, consulting and simulation work to improve efficiency, focused on (mobile) robot systems, in productionlines that include composite materials. - Training in autonomous and intelligent Robotics
Basic training in the Robot Operating System, as well as customer-specific training courses in the field of mobile,intelligent, and robotic systems.
