Design and simulation

Helix performs detailed composite design, CAD modelling and simulation of propeller blades, hubs and full assemblies, including verification of strength, vibration and acoustic behaviour

Materials

Use of advanced carbon fibre reinforced composite materials, including carbon/kevlar blends, bespoke moulded parts, leading-edge protection and sandwich structures for high-performance blades.

Machinery and tooling

Production of moulds and tooling for composite parts (propeller blades, hub assemblies), including high-precision jigs and finishing tools tailored for composite lay-up and curing.

Production

Manufacture of carbon-composite propellers covering diameters from around 0.75 m up to 2.8 m for ultralights, paramotors, trikes, gyrocopters, eVTOLs; both fixed-pitch and adjustable systems (hydraulic/electric).

Process optimization and consulting

Helix supports special projects (custom propeller systems, eVTOL development, noise-reduced fans) and collaborates with research institutions for innovation in propeller tech and manufacturing.
